Happy new year one and all and a special congratulations to cheshire police for solving all of the crimes in cheshire... Or at least that's what I'm led to believe when I see that they have so much spare resource that they can post 3 police cars and a video van to guard one half mile stretch of the A34 around Wilmslow/Handforth.
To be fair they could have had a valid reason to be there. Who knows, maybe there was a convoy of international terrorists en route but I suspect they were there to catch some innocent motorists and boost their arrest rates, after all, new year - new targets.
Anyway, I shouldn't start the new year with a rant. Pretty much everyone that knows me knows my oppinions on traffic police and speed cameras so there's no point in repeating myself here. Instead I'll leave you with a fantastic tale of one of the queen's servants pulling her chair from under her in the middle of the royal christmas dinner, causing her to fall on her royal arse. Luckily her fall was broken by some corgis.
